A Fond Welcome to Meghan Seyler, One of our Newest Interns at 2GreenEnergy

A Fond Welcome to Meghan Seyler, One of our Newest Interns at 2GreenEnergyI’m so happy that Meghan Seyler has decided to dedicate some of her time this summer to the cause here.  I love her passion for the subjects of cleantech and sustainability, and the incredible pace at which she works.

Currently, Meghan’s working on a research project to understand what Google and the other high-flying tech giants are doing in the development of cleantech.  I started to write her a private note on the subject, but then realized that there was nothing private about it at all, thus this post.

Hi, Meghan.  Here’s a post I wrote on driverless cars.  As you know, I’m not a fan.  Yes, Google is spearheading this–for some reason I don’t exactly understand.  Obviously, it’s a chance for them to make a ton of money, as they will have the opportunity to provide all the artificial intelligence at play here.  But they already have a ton of money; I’m shocked that they’re wasting all that talent on something so trivial, especially when our civilization is falling apart at the seams for lack of real breakthroughs in cleantech.

I suspect that Google is doing many things of profound meaning and purpose, tackling these challenges under the radar screen, and that the driverless car is a ruse to distract people’s attention.  It would be wonderful if, through your research, you can determine whether I’m right or wrong.
