About Steve Ellis, Contributor to “Renewable Energy Facts and Fantasies” – Hydrogen Fuel Cells
Steve is one of the most important spokespeople for hydrogen, and I was pleased to get his take on fuel-cell vehicles.
A hydrogen fuel cell vehicle can be a zero CO2 emission vehicle — just like a battery electric vehicle. A battery electric vehicle advocate should be saying, “Battery electric vehicles can be zero carbon emission vehicles…just like a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle can be too.” There is no reason that the two should be attacking one another.
Read “The Tough Realities of Renewable Energy” and see that Craig Shields does not consider distributed solar thermal a viable energy source. Just the concentrating variety that enables corporate profiteers to engage. DST has the capability to provide over half of our energy needs while enabling users to be self sufficient, and I sense that is scary for capitalist lackeys.
Thanks for the comment Phil. I have to say that this marks the first time in my life I’ve been accused of supporting the ends of capitalist lackeys. In any case, I’ve already begun looking into this subject in greater depth; I learned a great deal from a few articles I found just now. Please feel free to post a link to what you believe to be the defining, most cutting-edge thinking on the subject.
