Clean Energy Fraud Comes At Us Constantly

Here’s a conversation I just had with a reader – one that I have in various forms at the rate of several per month.

Reader: Have you seen this yet? That’s why we need to get EVs in everyone’s hands. No mention of cost.

Craig: It’s a fraud.  It violates the laws of physics.

Reader:  Thanks for the quick answer. I wondered how they could do that. That was the April 2013 issue that had the article.  Did you ever see the same pitch for air-powered cars? There were four or five that apparently had compressors that supposedly refilled the air tanks when the engine was running.

Craig: No, I didn’t see that particular fraud, but there are hundreds of them out there.  These particular people are especially bald-faced, and, I’d like to think that they’re running a huge risk of getting hauled off to the pokey.  Having said that, it’s a bit ironic that I got a speeding ticket a few years ago going 76 in a 65 MPH zone in the middle of nowhere, but law enforcement can’t take a peek at this.
