Renewable Energy – Following the Money

My third book, Renewable Energy – Following the Money, is now available on Amazon, as well as in the Barnes and Noble stores (though most stores will need to order it for you). And my good friends at the very cool local bookstore the Book Loft (pictured here) just agreed to stock a few copies, as I am, indeed, a local author.

The book’s another compilation of interviews with subject matter experts – this one aimed, as the title suggests, at unraveling the economic mysteries associated with renewable energy.  If we care so much about costs, and fossil fuels and nuclear are so expensive in so many ways, why aren’t they going away?

My fourth grade teacher, Ruth Tindall, used to scold us if the book reports we presented to the class gave away the end of the book. She’d exclaim, “Don’t tell them what happens, or they won’t want to read the book!”  Good point, ma’am.  “Try to be a bit mysterious,” I recall her suggesting when she had calmed down.

In deference to dear old Mrs. Tindall, I won’t give away the end, so as to give you a good reason to pick up the book.

I think it’s pretty good. There are a few interviews here that really cut to the bone. I’ll never forget my conversation with the spokesperson for the Cato Institute if I live to be a million.
