Eestor Re-Announces Capacitor Breakthrough:  Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

A colleague writes:  It looks like Eestor is finally coming out. They activated their website after all these years.  They got some validation by outside testing. Let me know what you think.

I hate to sound cynical, but a) I can’t see exactly what they claim they’re coming out with, b) it’s hard to know how competitive it will be even if it lives up to its claims, c) the concept of capacitors held much more promise a decade ago when batteries’ power density issues were ruining the performance of electric vehicles–a problem that’s long since been handled, and d) the world has all but forgotten about these guys due to their vast array of misrepresentations over the many years.

Sorry to sound like Ebenezer Scrooge, but there it is.
