Take a COOL Guess – the Fun Quiz on Clean Energy.  Today’s Topic: Proof that the Voice of the American Voter Actually Means Something

Net Neutrality To Survive? An Incredible Turn-Around in the Future of Free SpeechQuestion:  How many people went to the website of the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) and registered a comment supporting Net Neutrality?

Answer: Can be found at Clean Energy Answers.   Hint: It’s by far the greatest outpouring of support for anything in U.S. history.

Relevance:  Americans commonly believe that their voices don’t matter, and for good reason.

89% favor more restrictive laws regarding the purchase of guns—at the very least, more in-depth background checks for would-be gun owners—but Congress will not pass such legislation.

About 75% of Americans support more solar power (Almost 90 percent of Democrats, nearly 75 percent of independents, and 68 percent among Republicans).  Yet an energy policy that favors renewable energy and a phasing out of fossil fuels is nowhere in sight.

Having said all this, there is no doubt in anyone’s mind that the huge display of public support for Net Neutrality is an important driving force behind its remaining a reality.
