Encouraging Uptick in Electric Transportation
Over the years, 2GreenEnergy has played host to an uncountable number of discussions about the projected adoption curve for electric vehicles. In particular, many of us have wrung our hands over how slow this process has been, while harboring the fear that the future may be just as uninteresting as the past.
Here’s an article that speaks to a turn of events in the UK, in which the author explains that the demand for pure electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids has advanced markedly in recent times. Alternative fuel vehicles account for 3% of total sales. While this may not seem exciting on the surface, the jump in the acceptance rate for this modern approach to transportation is encouraging.
Let’s keep in mind: The future always looks like the past–until it looks like something else entirely.
