You Make a Difference
At 2GreenEnergy, we frequently take on the subject of the enormous, albeit often unacknowledged, power to change the world around us. One of the quotes that seems to sum this up best came from former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger: “If it weren’t for the protest of the common American to the war in Vietnam, we’d still be there.” Powerful stuff, IMO.
After you’ve checked out this trailer for the film “Making a Killing,” perhaps you’ll want to take the same action that I’ve chosen: throw a party at your home and provide a screening of the full documentary for your family, friends and neighbors.
FWIW, I really get off on such parties. We had one here about a year ago in which we watched one of Bernie Sanders’ debates, and then discussed the upshot, over white wine and a salmon puree appetizer that I threw together. Good times!
More to the point, whether or not you opt to host a party, never underestimate the huge force you represent in making the world a better place.
