If you look at eight centuries since the Magna Carta and think about all the progress humankind has made since then in the direction of civility, it’s tough to imagine that we’re going to recede back into the darkness at this point.
On balance, it hasn’t been a bad 800 years. Hitting a few highlights, we had the Renaissance, the Age of Reason, the Enlightenment, The French Revolution, the U.S. Constitution, the abolition of slavery, workers’ rights, women’s suffrage, the end of legal segregation, Civil Rights, environmentalism, the feminist movement/gender equality, gay marriage, etc.
And now, some sniveling whiny liar/criminal man-baby has begun a mass movement that will propel humankind back into the Dark Ages? Uhhh..no.

Apart from his odd rhetoric, the actions taken by the Trump Presidency nave been moderate and restrained. In contrast the level of hysterical, vehemence leveled against his administration strayed far as to encourage and excusing acts of a crimminal, even treasonous nature.
The unlawful disclosure of secret communications between the President and foreign leaders, especially by Federal government employees or service personal is not only criminal conduct, but could be treason.
In a broader sense, performing any unlawful act with intent to overthrow a lawfully elected government is an attack on the constitution and evidence of a disdain for voter’s and the election process.
