Hydroelectricity for the Home

One comes across lots of videos like this that sugarcoat the process of generating energy for the home.  Yes, if you have a stream near your house, there is nothing that makes the idea of 1 kilowatt of hydroelectric generation impossible…if at least 30 gallons of water per second falls at least one meter from one end of your property to the other.  That’s an extremely unusual property.

Also, the claim “This 18-Inch Device Can Power Your Home For An Entire Year” shows that the author doesn’t understand the difference between energy and power.  It either powers your house or it doesn’t.
