Take Me To Your Leader
This is funny, but I often think how glad I am that our planet is (probably) not being visited by an advanced civilization. I can’t think of how embarrassed I’d be to take an intelligent alien to my “leader.”

You are quite right ! I’m not sure if any of the most prominent of the world’s ‘leaders’ you could actually introduce with any confidence !

But you raise an interesting point, surely to an alien visitor the true representative for our planet should be either UN Secretary-General António Guterres or UN President María Fernanda Espinosa Garcés ?
Luckily, for those citizens living in Constitutional Monarchies the ‘leaders’ would a lot more dignified than the motley collection of bickering politicians pushing themselves forward for the photo-op !
As I type my cat is enjoying the early Sunday sun and looking superior, the thought occurs what if the aliens turn out to be from the planet, “Catz”, I hope my cat will forgive me our kitty litter training sessions !
