In Small and Medium Luxury Cars, Tesla’s Model 3 Is “Killin’ It”

t4The ramp-up of production of the Tesla Model 3 is a thing of beauty to behold.

I’m with 2GreenEnergy contributor Fritz Maffry in my respect for and confidence in Elon Musk.  If he said he’d be playing middle linebacker for the Detroit Lions next year, I’d have my money on him.

    Craig,

Glad to see you are at last a Tesla/Musk fan.

Perhaps now, at long last, you will actually take your own money to a Tesla store and buy a Tesla product! ??

I had to wait sometime to buy a right hand drive Tesla model S. Since then our fleet has expanded to include four Tesla’s in service and save for some minor hiccups, over the last five years, the vehicles have performed highly satisfactorily.

My LERR is now in it’s seventh year of operation, and has performed faultlessly, while in Australia my BMW i8 is due for replacement in 2019. (I’ll pass the i8 to my daughter).

I was tempted by the new Jaguar I pace, but the EV range is disappointing and not practical given the range requirements of Australia. I hope Elon will hurry up with the new Roadster.

More shocking is the news that my other EV hero has been arrested and imprisoned in Japan awaiting trial.

Carlos Ghosn is the father of the best selling EV, the Nissan Leaf, and the range of Renault EV’s.

He is one of the auto industry’s best-known executives, leading a global alliance that includes French auto maker Renault SA, where he is chief executive, and Mitsubishi Motors Corp., where he is chairman. Mr. Ghosn, 64 years old, made his name turning around Nissan in the early 2000s.
