Taking Matters Not-Too-Seriously
The great cities in California tend to have extremely high levels of participation when it comes to environmental and social causes. Where I live in Santa Barbara, for instance, it’s not uncommon for 7,000 people to take to the streets in events like the March for Women, the March for Science, etc., and that’s out of a population of only 89,000.
That said, we try not to take ourselves too seriously. As you review the pic above, featuring the annual “Bay to Breakers” foot race in San Francisco, ask yourself, “If my city had such a race, would it feature a band of women dressed like Ruth Bader Ginsberg?”
