The “I” Word

This is the first post on 2GreenEnergy that mentions the word “impeachment,” and I present it only because it’s an elephant in the room.

Whether this moves forward or not depends on Washington politics, meaning, principally, that it has nothing whatsoever to do with right and wrong, but rather, only on that which is expedient. In turn, that which is expedient can turn on a dime, though right now, House Democrats deem that they have more to lose than to gain by impeaching the president.

That said, readers would be well-advised to read this opinion piece and wrap their wits around its seven-point argument for impeachment. It will create a background of understanding for the events that could very well come to pass in the near future, but at the very least, it’s a fantastic exercise in civics, i.e., in familiarity with the U.S. Constitution.
