The Greatest Threat To Human Civilization
This is good, but I look at it a bit differently. I would add “climate change mitigation” to the list of things everyone wants. (I would add “universal healthcare” to the list too.)
Then I would relabel the wave: “Money in Politics.” It’s the one thing that’s preventing us from getting anywhere with respect to a healthy environment, quality education, healthcare for all, common sense gun laws, as well as any other arena in which we need to achieve progress.
As Americans, we live in a country in which our laws are written by and for the people who financially benefit from them, and as long as that’s the case, we’re going nowhere.

That’s the case with most governments of every nation.
Taxation pays for government services from which all citizens benefit. Poorer citizens more so than the affluent, since the hay a higher share of tax contributions and proportionately need less services.
Once again has it ever occurred to you that the majority of your fellow citizens just don’t need or want your particular political agenda ?
Equally has it occurred to you that this is not due to any sinister influences, or because the majority of voters are “stupid” “deplorables” , but just don’t trust of want what you’re selling, or the way in which you’re selling your message?
Give it some thought, is may save you a great deal of frustration, outrage and angst.
