Trump and Morality

milosevicAstoundingly, there is still a great deal of discussion in Washington regarding Trump’s moral rightness.  One side promotes the line that the president is the innocent object of an evil and illegal deep state cabal that is seeking to remove a duly-elected president simply because he is unpopular with the liberal elite, and that all this is propelled by the mainstream (fake) news media, the enemy of the people.

Apparently, this makes sense to his still-significant base of supporters. I wish they would keep in mind, however, that Trump is no longer permitted to run charitable organizations because of what he did with the last one, i.e., (ran it so as to) “function as little more than a checkbook to serve Mr. Trump’s business and political interests,” according to the New York State Attorney General, thus stealing from children with cancer.

How much more does one need to know about the ethical character of the president?

Keep in mind that struggling/failing democracies vomit up morally depraved heads of state all the time.  This is precisely what produced Slobodan Milošević (pictured) as Yugoslavia and the USSR failed in 1989.  It’s no coincidence that Milošević shared many of Trump’s characteristics: ruthlessness, cruelty, lawlessness, the silencing of enemies, dishonesty, and demagoguery.

It’s time for this national nightmare to come to an end.

    Craig,

    Rant, snort, rant, rant…..

I think your problem is that like so many Democrats you thought only a certain class of person, those of whom you approve, had the right to get elected by all those ‘deplorables’, who have the temerity not to share your taste beer! .

You simply hasn’t come to terms with why Donald Trump won the 2016 election.

He won because he is the ultimate disruptor. “Drain the swamp” wasn’t just a campaign slogan, but a call to hatred and contempt for ‘establishment Washington’. The millions of Americans who voted for Trump and still support him, chose him precisely because he is rough, breaks the rules, and shows little respect for the political establishment at every level.

To successfully bring down President Trump, the average American must get really be mad at Trump for asking foreign leaders to investigate Joe and Hunter Biden, Hillary Clinton FBI, CIA etc.

The voters need to believe that Clinton and the Bidens did nothing wrong inherently corrupt. They must also believe that just about all the rules and established groups within American government, especially the intelligence community, deserve unquestioned respect !

Well, here’s a newsflash, the average American has no trust or respect for these people, and they’re OK with Trump digging it all out.

If Trump were ‘presidential’ he wouldn’t have been elected!

President Trump is a different sort of President. He plays by different rules and is judged by different rules. As long as his opponents play by the old rules, Trump will survive and win reelection in 2020.

Both his fundraising and polling has increased with this latest scandal.

Joe Biden is effectively destroyed politically, and the whistleblower may turn out to be just another anti-Trumper.
