America and Authoritarianism
As you read the words to the left here, keep in mind that 40% of American voters believe that they are true and correct.
They believe that the man who spoke them represents the prospect of making America great again.
Crossroads, America; we either fix this, or we are so screwed.
Craig,
Nope, they’re not the language of anyone, only a series of misquotes designed to fit your own agenda by misrepresenting a President you dislike.
While it’s good to see you getting more accurate, bandy around the figure. Where is your authority for your assertion only 40% support the President.
Since the President was elected with 46% of the vote and currently sits on about 44% in the polls, with the undecided un-canvassed,
No US President can be any more or less “authoritarian” . The position is dictated by terms stated in the constitution. Presidents can be ‘strong’ or ‘weak’ but they still must accept Constitutional restraints and summit themselves to the will of the people every four years.
@marcopolo You just might find reading history books quite illuminating… as you will learn that democracies are riddled with elected authoritarians. Many of which harmed millions of people. And if you think this can’s happen in the US because you are “unique”, when then you are in for a big surprise.
