Committing Crimes Again Humanity
Most of us don’t need an expert in crimes against humanity to tell us that what the United States has done to 5400 children and their parents on the southern border is disgraceful. For the rest of us, let me introduce Benjamin Ferencz.
This conduct is vile and heinous. It’s sickening.
Craig,
Noble sentiments emotively exaggerated by propagandists with little or no idea of the real circumstances or situation, are little more than grandstanders for political gain and ego.
Such people delight in moralizing, always inaccurately and usually employing deliberate distortions and falsehoods.
Compare the “facts” with your emotive narrative.
1) The Trump administration did not initiate a policy of separation of illegal migrant children from unidentified adult illegals.
The policy was inherited from the Obama administration, who only expanded on previous laws dating back more than 70 years.
2) The US I migration Service, Border Protection and all US and State agencies have a duty of care to ensure these children are not left in the custody of undocumented adults.
The children might be the victims of drug smugglers, sex traffickers, kidnappers, or any one of dozens of methods of exploiting these children for illegal purposes.
3) The US authorities must also separate children from adults who may be suffering from mental illnesses, traumas or contagious disease. (more than 100 cases of superbug TB have been detected).
4) How would Mr Benjamin Ferencz explain to the parents of Haria (8) and Paolo (4) Castaneda, that the US had not stopped the three men and one women who accompanied the children while attempting an illegal entry into the US?
How do you or Mr Ferendcz explain the distraught parents whose precious children were kidnapped from their home in Belize and employed by a criminal as both drug and sex mules.
The children were accompanied by three men and one women who all claimed to be members of the same family.
Tragically, under the Obama “catch and release policy” these illegal criminals were successful and it took three years to catch the the women gang member who in a plea deal for unrelated drug crimes informed the FBI of the whereabouts of the children.
Too late for Paolo who died from abuse aged just five, and too late for his sister who is alive but has an incurable disease passed on to her by one of her many abusers.
Had the US authorities been just a little more vigilant and separated these children to a safe environment, not only could they have been returned to their loving family, but the evil gang could have been brought to justice.
What will you or Benjamin Ferencz.say to these parents?
The answer? Nothing, because neither of you give a damn! All you care about is scoring a few cheap shots at the administration.
Tell the parents of Maria and Paolo how “liberal” and “compassionate” you are……
It’s very easy to criticize when you have no responsibility.
