Who Isn’t Impressed with Russia’s Political Tactics?
We’re just now becoming aware of the incredible talent that Russian operatives brought to bear to help elect Trump in 2016. As I looked through some of the screen shots below, I thought how this guy, or perhaps a team, must have celebrated with their comrades for months on end following the outcome. Vodskies for the house!
As a marketing guy with (at the risk of appearing immodest) 30+ years of some of the B2B world’s most effective programs on his resume, I’m now realizing how small, on a relative scale, my accomplishments actually were. If I could truthfully say that I had turned the most powerful country on Earth in to a seething mass of on-running embarrassments, ruining my enemy’s entire democracy with such an assemblage of ludicrous s***, I would have ranked that at the very top of my credentials.
This would have been the equivalent of my having brought down ISIS with some superior insight into the intellectual weakness of their supporters in Iraq, Syria, Libya, Nigeria, Afghanistan, Philippines, and Malaysia.
Did I meet and exceed the expectations of my clients? Virtually every time. Did I turn around world history for the betterment of my country and the world around me? Sorry, not by a long shot.

Modern Russia is not the old USSR. Modern Russia has no “ideological” agenda apart from nationalistic self interest.
Russia is an economic pygmy of its former self, (the economy is about half that of Canada).
Russia lacks the military or logistical power of the US and is desperately struggling to keep the Russian Federation afloat and prevent further disintegration and civil war.
For some reason you (along with the rest of the more hysterical media) need a “bad guy” , so you have invented a bogyman in the form of Putin and Russia.
What you have missed is the far more serious and wily enemy who has tricked you into being distracted with a mere decoy so the CCP can continue to grow stronger and more serious in its long prepared challenge to America and Western values.
If you weren’t so obsessed with hating Trump, you might be able to realize who is taking you for a ride!
