Is Humankind Coming Together or Moving Further Apart?
It seems that our civilization’s response to the coronavirus is pulling us together. With each passing day, we see new examples of generosity between groups of people who previously had shared very little kinship.
Perhaps we’ll look back on this as a blessing in disguise, one that prepared us to deal with our profound environmental challenges that also require international cooperation.
If this be the case, it can’t happen too soon. It comes at a time where segments of our population, at least in the United States, are being actively pried apart for the political gain of one horrible man.
These are difficult times, and making predictions about the outcome at this point is impossible. All we can do is be our best, kindest selves.
