Status of the Progressive Agenda in the United States

Here’s a guy who says the progressive agenda in America is not dead.  He’s right, of course.  There is no reason to think the United States can’t or won’t join the rest of the developed world in offering its citizens universal healthcare and free public education, while committing to environmental stewardship and some level of social justice.

In fact, a Biden presidency will most assuredly move the ball in that direction from where it is now.

But the key thing to keep in mind at this stage of U.S. history is that this country is being led by an authoritarian criminal sociopath, and the singular focus of every decent American needs to be on removing him from office.

When your house is on fire you don’t run the vacuum.
