Ramping Up Renewable Energy

Here’s a short video that explains the pace at which we need to move in terms of clean energy growth to avert climate catastrophe.  The United States is not at all homogeneous in terms of the adoption of renewables and other low-carbon energy sources. California, Colorado, New Mexico and New York are leading the way, but our nation’s efforts are being impeded by states like sunny Florida, which gets only 15% of its energy from clean sources, and Ohio, which is aggressively rolling back its clean energy targets.

The video’s called “The Narwahl Curve,” named for the sharp tusk of this creature that lives in the arctic.  How high does this have to point its nose?
