America at an Ebb

Life is sad here in these United States right now, and for so many reasons.

Can you imagine being the guy handcuffing the nun?  What must he be thinking: “A woman of God has traveled a long way in a desperate attempt to alleviate the suffering of innocent children, and I’m locking her in jail to punish her, and to prevent her from succeeding in her mission.”  Ouch, that must hurt.

I know there is a lot of love and compassion being exchanged between many millions of Americans right now, but sometimes it’s hard to keep that in mind.
