Enjoying a Bit of Humor When Corruption Rears Its Ugly Head
Most of us are a bit frustrated when we see public figures profiting from the lunacy of today’s world, especially when it is so obviously and so purely corrupt.
Maybe that’s based on one of a seemingly infinite supply of news items. Perhaps you’re cheesed off that the United States Postmaster General, the chief executive officer of the United States Postal Service, while aggressively destroying the post office, holds a huge interest in the institution’s competition. He also functions as a huge donor to the president’s re-election campaign that will be well served by shutting down mail-in ballots.
On an admittedly lesser scale, here’s Trump mega-donor, MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell, claiming that his product is a miracle cure to COVID-19. Ben Carson, United States Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, is actively hawking the product.
I hope readers will enjoy seeing how Lindell ultimately invokes the will of God as what could be viewed as a last ditch effort to avoid total catastrophe, given the line of questioning from journalist Anderson Cooper.
