Just Like Trump, McConnell Will Be Remembered as a Traitor

In a speech before the RNC, Senate Majority Leader McConnell pitched Republican control of the Senate as a “firewall” against House Democrats’ legislative aims.

One of those aims, of course, is the different sorts of proposed legislation that would have made it harder for Russia to help Trump win the presidential election in 2020, just like all 17 U.S. intelligence agencies report that they did in 2016.

It’s all but certain that history will view McConnell’s most amazing achievement as the blocking of all attempts to prevent election hacking by Russia and other foreign entities, handing control of our government to an enemy power.
