Victory for the U.S. Constitution

By a 6 – 2 majority, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the claim of religious freedom can’t be used to deny same-sex couples the right to marry.

If I were hearing this case, I’d ask, “Suppose your religious convictions mandated school segregation or statutory rape or genital mutilation. Unless you believe First Amendment should prevail in those cases, I’d like you to turn around and get out of this courtroom.”

Warped-minded justices Alito and Thomas dissented.
