Desperation Time for Trump
It’s impossible to know what to expect in the two weeks leading up to the election. Obviously we’re going to see various “revelations” about Hunter/Joe Biden, coming from the least likely, most far-fetched sources imaginable, and God only knows what form they’re going to take.
Trump’s problem, however, is that anger and desperation makes him come across as completely, rather than partially, insane. His claims have become so asinine that even his supporters are starting to shake their heads in disbelief.
His main message is that Biden will bring us mayhem, chaos, international embarrassment and job loss. The problem here is, that’s exactly what we’re experiencing right this minute, brought crushing down on us by Trump himself, a point so obvious that Biden hardly need mention it at all.
At the same time, congressional Republicans are distancing themselves from the liar-in-chief, at least in most states, as rapidly as possible. This means lots of anti-Trump messaging is hitting local media markets all over the country, and the sheer volume of all this is about to become ear-splitting.
Add all this together, and you arrive at the reason I chose the illustration here.
