Yes, America, This Is Who We Are, At Least For Now

This guy makes a good point.  An accurate understanding of our fellows requires that we acknowledge that about half of Americans have very poor values.

But how important is that to you and me? 2GreenEnergy headquarters is in a rural part of Central California, which has roughly the same political sensibilities as Oklahoma, yet we’re only 30 minutes from Santa Barbara, which (I’m guessing) went for Biden by at least 90 – 10.  My point is that, except in election season, few people are talking about politics and we simply get along living day-by-day, and hopefully enjoying our lives.

Some people say that there will always be what we now call Trump supporters.  Always is a long time.  If this country can get healthy, restore the tax system that made it great post the Great Depression, rebuild education, and create the so-called “green economy,” it seems quite plausible that America can be united to a far greater degree than it’s ever seen before.
