More on Former Trump Campaign Attorney Sidney Powell
Yesterday I mentioned this piece in Bloomberg that begins: Dominion Voting Systems Inc. blasted former Trump campaign attorney Sidney Powell for telling a judge that her claims about a vast election-fraud conspiracy were merely opinions in order to dodge the company’s $1.3 billion defamation suit repeatedly (even though she) had repeatedly and falsely claimed in public that she had proof Dominion rigged the 2020 election against Donald Trump, saying she could “hardly wait to put forth all the evidence” and that “you would have to be a damn fool” not to believe it.
As I reread that post from yesterday, it struck me what a loathsome human being she is. Obviously, this is an incredibly lame argument that will ultimately be defeated, but ask yourself: What type of person makes a statement like that in the first place?
Well, let me take a stab at that, by providing a comparison. On the same day, charges of sexually assaulting a child were filed against a man who was caught with his hand in the panties of a nine-year-old girl. When her mother unexpectedly entered the room and saw what was going on, he explained that he was looking for his cell phone, which he had misplaced, and thought it might be in her underwear.
Powell’s statement is equally ludicrous, and says essentially the same thing about her character.
