The Latest Marjorie Taylor Greene Scandal Is…..zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

The most interesting thing about the limits on outrageous behavior from Republican congresspeople is that there are none.

Sure, Marjorie Taylor Greene’s comparison of mask regulations to the Holocaust has resulted in a few more voices calling for her ouster from the House of Representatives. But seriously, if her claim that space lasers that identify as Jewish started wildfires in the Pacific Northwest, her advocacy for the execution of Democrats, her childish harassment of Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, and claiming the Parkland, Florida, school shooting was staged didn’t get the job done, is this current ruckus likely to?

Of course not.  There is nothing this lunatic could say that would provide sufficient motivation to spark her removal.

One might think that Republicans might be tired of the daily barrage of public humiliation, keep in mind that their current platform calls for a return of Donald Trump in 2024.  That’s if they are unsuccessful in overturning the results of the 2020 election, which he lost by 73 electoral college and 7+ million popular votes.  Trump’s approval rating was 39% when he left office and it’s fallen steadily since, as more evidence emerges that support felony charges on everything from fraud to sedition to obstruction of justice to extortion.

It doesn’t get any more insane.
