Hemp and Environmental Sustainability
Hemp is one of the fastest growing plants on Earth, a fact that virtually explodes into life in the photo here.
It can be refined into a variety of items, including paper, rope, textiles, clothing, biodegradable plastics, paint, insulation, biofuel, food, and animal feed.
It’s hard to count all the ways in which the environment can be improved by making our commercial and industrial products with hemp, rather than trees, petroleum, etc.
