Ten Years From Now: Plant-Based Foods

In this video, billionaire Jim Mellon makes some old predictions re: the rapid phasing out of animals as food in favor of plant-based dairy and meat.

He says, “We have the products.  Now all we need is the scale, the money and the will.”

Well, those items aren’t exactly trivial, are they?

In particular, the will.  Western civilization loves beef, and is loath to give that up.

FWIW, I see a long, slow process that is impeded by the meat industry, not unlike what the oil companies are doing to climate change mitigation.
