Conservative “Kid Rock” Owns the Libs
A reader notes:Kid Rock owned the libs earlier this month by playing a concert at the annual motorcycle rally in Sturgis. He made sure they knew they were owned by posting a picture and taunting them because they hate freedom or something: “There is nothing the mainstream media or internet or social media trolls can do but look at this pic and weep, knowing you will never beat us.”
Following the Sturgis show, Kid Rock had to cancel upcoming shows because most of his band has Covid. Probably just coincidental, eh? You know, that’s the funny thing about science. It doesn’t care whether you believe in it.
I have to admit that I needed to look him up, as I knew nothing about him. Turns out, from Wikipedia: (he’s) a supporter of the Republican Party, although he has routinely proclaimed himself as libertarian. In 2015, (he) publicly endorsed Ben Carson for the Republican nomination for President of the United States in the 2016 election. In February 2016, he voiced approval for Donald Trump’s campaign for the same office.
Ben Carson, really? Where Trump is a sociopath, Carson is just a sick joke.
My main reaction to stories like this is disgust. If these people would isolate themselves and die, no one would care. But they infect innocent, law-abiding people, while clogging up our hospitals. Good people are dying of other treatable diseases because there are no ICU beds available. It’s nauseating.
