A Bit Far-Fetched?
Doesn’t this seem a bit extreme? “They” don’t teach you how to grow vegetables because they want you dependent on …… the grocery store?
Many thousands of years ago, humankind noticed that not everyone had the capacity to produce everything. Long before there was currency (which began around 600 BCE) people were bartering eggs for apples, bread for milk.
Does it seem real that the governments of ancient Mesopotamia or Phoenicia had an issue with this and wanted people dependent on them?
Anyone who wants to grow his own food is at liberty to do so, and anyone who wants to hone his skill can YouTube it until the cows come home.
