Lots of Variance Between “News” Sources
When I speak with my 95-year-old mom every few days, the conversation ultimately gets into politics, and we’re both amazed that how little each other knows about the hottest topics. The reason for this, of course, is that we follow news sources that are at odds with one another on the subjects they feature.
Here’s an example: For the first time in U.S. history, we have a supreme court justice who is clearly corrupt. Clarence Thomas voted to impede a congressional investigation in which his wife is involved. I would have thought this would have at least been worth a mention, even if it followed the stock prices and baseball scores.
