Putin Has Hit America Hard

Was Russia’s support of Donald Trump and its intervention in our 2016 elections an act of deliberate sabotage?

There is no direct proof–at least none that has been made public, yet it’s hard for the mind not to connect the dots.

All 17 U.S. intelligence agencies confirmed that Russia did, in fact, interfere on Trump’s behalf.

Trump denies this, trusting the word of avowed American enemy, Vladimir Putin, over his country’s highest-ranking experts.

Within a period of four years, Trump has weakened NATO, supported white nationalists, obstructed the handling of COVID-19 leading to hundreds of thousands of unnecessary deaths, driven international respect for the United States into an all-time low, committed an array of felonies including the attempted extortion of Ukraine, and attempted to overturn the results of the 2020 election, leaving tens of millions of Americans believing that the election was stolen by the Democrats, that our democracy no longer exists, and that our country now features systemic and widespread voter fraud.

Not a bad showing for four short years.

Now that Trump has at least temporarily been rendered incapable of harming the U.S. any further, the newly-empowered Russian dictator has turned his imperialistic tactics elsewhere, i.e., the invasion of Eastern Europe.

Putin used Trump like a garden tool and has inflicted perhaps irremediable damage on the United States.
