How Scary Is Pennsylvania Politics?

An old friend from my home state of Pennsylvania writes:

PA is in danger. And therefore, the rest of the country. Find a way to participate in OUR democracy before you vote in November. This is by a friend of a friend named Sam Talarico.

“OK. We know that Doug Mastriano is the Republican candidate for governor. We know that he was at the Insurrection. This guy is absolutely dangerous. This is not a drill. He is an extreme Christian nationalist. Forget about his positions on issues. He doesn’t have any, other than NO ABORTION WITHOUT EXCEPTION. NONE. Rape, incest, life of the mother. NONE. He is only doing this to turn Pennsylvania into a Christian state. That is it. He believes that he was sent by God to make sure that Trump gets Pennsylvania’s electoral votes in 2024. I am not making this up. Check it out yourself. He is using the fall election merely as a Christian jihad to install God’s chosen candidate – not in 2024, but NOW. He is doing God’s will by throwing out the results of the 2020 election. He really believes this. He is that nuts. We can never let him near the Governor’s office. This is not a drill.”
