Most People Are “Other People”

I agree with what Oscar Wilde said here, and I freely admit that it fully applies to me.

We have values that we derive largely from what we learn from other people.  For my entire adult life, I’ve chosen to read the works of certain writers, which is why I’ve come to believe that science works better than superstition, and that we have an ethical obligation to treat one another fairly and kindly, and to leave this Earth a habitable place for future generations.

In turn, people who read 2GreenEnergy, I hope, take away some of my ideas and incorporate them into their own.

I enjoy reading your ideas and thoughts – because you are an educated / well read individual — with your heart in the right place.

I wouldn’t take my time to “disagree” with your point of view sometimes if I didn’t hold you in high esteem.

In kind, I hope that you take my comments in the same way — because I believe that we both are trying, in our own ways; to make this a better place than what we found.

The difference may just be that “you have a ways to go yet” and “I am getting close to coming to end of mine” – so my comments are shall I say: “more to the point” sometimes.

Merry Christmas to you and yours – and have a great New Year.

I have a great deal of respect for you and your viewpoints as well, though we do have a few people of disagreement. All’s good. Merry Christmas back at you!
