Mitt Romney Not as Bad as Most Republicans
From the Washington Post:
Mitt Romney made history in 2020 by becoming the first senator to vote to convict a president of his own party at an impeachment trial. And Romney is now making some history again.
The Utah GOP senator announced Monday that he would support Ketanji Brown Jackson’s confirmation to the Supreme Court.
Progressives hardly approve of Mitt Romney. But at the same time, he represents a certain level of sanity and fairness in an otherwise completely hateful and deranged Republican party.
All patriotic Americans should hope to see the GOP return to its former conservative values: honesty, self-accountability, live-and-let-live, and non-interference in the affairs of others.
