Destroying American Democracy–From Within
Below is an installment of former federal prosecutor Glenn Kirschner’s “Justice Matters,” in which we see video evidence that a U.S. representative from Georgia, Barry Loudermilk, gave a tour of the Capitol on the day before the insurrection, a day when the building was closed to tours due to COVID restrictions. During the event, one of his “tourists” took pictures of hallways and stairwells, items that normally carry no interest.
The next day, the fellow with the camera is now one of the rioters, and, at a certain point, yells, “There’s no escape, Pelosi, Schumer, Nadler. We’re coming for you.”
Now, we all understand that prosecuting the architects of the insurrection is an extremely complicated matter, if only because so many people committed so many different crimes.
But there’s nothing complicated whatsoever about what Loudermilk did; it’s clear treason, i.e., the crime of betraying one’s country, especially by attempting to overthrow the government.
Obviously, this alone is insufficient evidence to convict him, but it’s more than enough to indict him.
Just arrest him. Now.
