Amazingly Powerful and Efficient Charitable Foundation: Turimiquire

2022 ACHIEVEMENTS:
Family Planning Services for more than 6,500 newly served women and men, delivering 34,210 Couple Years of Protection (CYPs), the internationally accepted metric by which USAID measures family planning achievement.
Surgical Procedures for 2412 low-income individuals, including tubal sterilizations, vasectomies, hernia repairs, and various gynecological, orthopedic, oncological, pediatric, and ear, nose and throat interventions.
Medical Consultations for over 2,000 patients focusing primarily on reproductive health, with additional primary and secondary health care, CT scans, biopsies, diagnoses and follow-up treatments.
Reproductive Health Workshops (442) for 11,706 participants focusing on teenagers, students, young adults, and public health and education personnel.
Emergency Assistance for dozens of families to alleviate critical problems associated with poverty, such as childhood food security.
Scholarship Program for 50 students at a remote rural high school and 15 students at community college.
Small Library and Computer Facility established, staffed and maintained two hours walking distance from the nearest road, where we also offer subsidized school supplies and tutoring.
Fruit Tree Distribution Program disperses little known cultivars (durian, mangosteen, jackfruit, rollinia, carambola) with strong future marketing potential to local farmers.
Support for Infrastructure Projects that benefit the community as a whole, such as maintaining the bridge, trails, and water and electric systems.
