It’s Not Your Father’s Republican Party

I suppose it’s easier to make a statement like Kinzinger’s here once you have become a retired congressional Republican.

The point made in the “lower third” of the screen is also apt: this is a Republican party that bears very little resemblance to anything that preceded it.

And the “real” point in this piece –is that it was the current voting members of the Republican Party that voted Kinzinger out of office.

They are just as guilty as Trump is for all of this legal trouble that Trump and his immediate “followers” instigated.

When are you going to acknowledge that they are all just as guilty as Trump: for trying to overthrow the honestly elected Government and take it over.

Another point that needs to be faced with these people — it is totally immaterial whether or not they “agree” with the indictments, and hopefully the lock-ups of all concerned.
“IF” they disagree and vote for Trump again — they are just as guilty as Trump and his associates that are being charged — because what they are actually disagreeing with — is the rule of Law.
And that should not be tolerated.

You work to change a law through either the legal system and and politic system only.
You don’t get to vote for an indicted and hopefully convicted felon — and get away with it without without repercussions.
