I’m afraid Steven Martin is correct in what he says here.

If there is an announcement late in the evening of November 5th, 2024, or sometime in the days that follow, to the effect that Trump has won re-election, the world will have to accept that the United States is no longer a democracy and will be rapidly transitioning to an authoritative state.
