Trump to the Rescue
From The New York Times:President Trump’s inaugural address was a misleading assessment of the U.S. It has a growing economy, falling inflation, slowing illegal immigration, a record-breaking stock market, the lowest levels of violent crime in years and a military that has limited engagement in conflicts around the world.
This comes under the heading of “politics is what you can get away with.” The majority of American voters, albeit a slim one, eagerly accepts Trump’s bald-faced lies, and, at this point, that’s all that matters.
We can only hope that this country will have any semblance of honesty and decency four years hence.
