Renewable Energy Frauds Abound

A friend asked me to evaluate the technology represented here.  “Is there something here?” she inquired?

“I wish there were. But alas, it’s a fraud,” I responded.

“You are soooo in the know!” she gushed.

“Ha! You’re too kind.  Btw, I like to keep an open mind about this stuff; not all weird ideas are fraudulent. In fact, ALL great ideas were consider weird — at best — when they were introduced.

“But certain things are non-starters from the point of view of science principles that are extremely well established, like the laws of thermodynamics.  The idea of running a car on water, for example, is the same as fueling a fire with ashes. Ashes are the low-energy product of a fire that’s already happened, i.e., an event in which the chemical energy of the fuel was turned into heat energy. Similarly, water is the lower energy result of the oxidation of hydrogen; it’s what’s left after the energy of the fuel has been removed.

“Btw, if you want to see an even more obvious attempt at criminal fraud, it’s here. Why this guy isn’t making license plates, I cannot tell you.

“Please feel free to send me other stuff as well; I’m always looking for winners, while being amused at people’s attempts to pawn off bad ideas.”

  1. What is to be really, even if it is not understood.

The biggest obstacle for a safe development of our world is to use thermodynamics laws as a pretext to prevent the development of the technique in a very short time will compete the current energy supply.

  2. Craig says:

Consumer protection for energy efficiency, renewables, instant water heaters….is
A MUST!!!!!! DOE has some on their web sites. IT NEEDS TO INCLUDE HOW LONG THEY LAST AND MAINTENANCE COSTS!!!!

    Frauds in the SouthEast USA:
Attic fans that create a negative pressure in the attic and suck air conditioned air into attic.
Radiant barriers that are rolled onto attic floor get dusty and stop working in a year…
Read Consumer reports about instant water heaters.
Replace single pane, metal frame windows with double pane low e…windows for a 25 year payback?
Cars with a water tank and hydrogen electrolyzer that feed the engine and claim to improve gas mileage…
Large stove hoods that suck all the air conditioned air out of the house in 20 minutes…

New Energy codes are good but are not enforced because there is no money to enforce them. There needs to be a dedicated funding source like there is with a gas tax.

Maybe Obamas consumer protection agency will help so people don’t become disillusioned?

It is amazing how people have no clue what the truth is about many things.
These people are trained, tested, certified to know what works and what doesn’t.
