Unique Approach to Renewables Contracting – Global NES

Unique Approach to Renewables Contracting – Global NES

I had a chance conversation with Nick Roberts, VP Sales of GlobalNES recently – a company in renewables that boasts an interesting angle.

GlobalNES offers to arrange financing for, engineer, and install a range of commercial-sized clean energy systems – depending on the customer’s location and thus its access to resources, often including solar, wind power, geothermal, grey water reclamation, energy efficiencies, LED lighting, hydro technologies and fuel cell applications.
The typical project is in the hundreds of kilowatts – perhaps a shopping center, an industrial park, or some facet of a municipality.

I find two things interesting about the company:

They perform a comprehensive (“360-degree”) set of work actions virtually – that historically have required a traditional workplace environment. Practitioners sign up to be a part of Global NES in far-flung geographies, and then tap into veins of expertise and product/service delivery capability that are plugged in as required:

Assess Energy Performance and Needs
Analyze and Design
Customer Proposal
Project Implementation
Sustainability

This strikes me as quite creative.

The other interesting facet is that the company aspires to build a brand so strong that customers – and new people in the field – seek them out, and form an ever-increasing network of delivery.

Keep up the good work, guys.

This company is not legit. I know more than one person who purchased a franchise opportunity from them and nothing has ever come of it. These people talk big but in reality they come through with nothing. A friend of mine had secured several exciting big money leads and when the time came for Global NES to close the deal they backed out leaving my friend holding the bag and a bad reputation as a business person. If you are looking for green energy business opportunities look elsewhere. There are better investments out there for your money. To date- as far as I know, this company has not sold even one renewable energy system and they have been in business almost 3 years.

I represent only one of many suppliers for Global NES and have shipped product to their projects throughout the U.S. If “Maxine Edge” would leave contact info, I will be happy to send (with Global’s blessing) a list of clients we have shipped to. I think this posting was either sour grapes or a competitor trying to discredit a reputable company. These are good folks and have been a pleasure to do business with.

Karl Swanson who will gladly send you information is a front man employed by the shysters who run this company. Ask them about their leads and then call the people. TO date I have found absolutely no one who they have actually come through on a project with. Their main source of revenue is selling franchises to unsuspecting people who want to join the green movement and want a legit business. Sour grapes you say? Of course I was one of those people who in earnest paid money and got exactly nothing in return except for a few logo shirts, a solar tracker, 2 day seminar in Denver and 500 business cards for 36,000. Trust me—steer clear. The guy that owns this is a marketing genius just only not with solar power,. However he is a genius at selling worthless franchises for a big talk, do nothing company.
