I may not have mentioned that I act as a tutor for kids in the local schools and colleges; here’s my flier on the subject.  I bring this up because I just got this LinkedIn invitation from a fellow (pictured) I worked with for a couple of semesters in Chemistry and English at the local (incredibly good) prep school.

As I told him in my response:  I can’t tell you how happy I am to hear from you, and especially in the context of all this good news re: your academic achievements!  I knew you had it in you. Please tell your folks (who found and hired me) that I say hi.  You’ve totally made my day.
