What If Trump Were Just Playing a Joke on Us?
It’s been five years since I interviewed my colleague Dr. Tom Konrad of AltEnergyStocks for my book Is Renewable Really Doable? Now I come to learn that he has even more talent than I actually suspected. Check out this satire he wrote for April Fools Day, in which Trump’s Press Secretary Sean Spicer announces to the world that all this stupidity and hate emanating from the White House is a joke. Fabulous.
To be honest, I actually thought that there was a chance that Trump would say at his inauguration: “OK, I’m president. You morons ate up all the hate-speech and anti-science rhetoric with a spoon. Now, I’m going to lead this country in a responsible and productive direction, where we all work together to employ kindness, tolerance and scientific rigor to focus on the real problems faced by all Americans–and, in fact, by all human beings around the globe.”
Let’s just say that I got that wrong.
My wife thinks I’m almost as gullible as the people who voted for Trump. I guess she’s right.
Of course it’s reasonable for presidents to have a sense of humor, but there is clearly a limit to what is reasonable. No rational and responsible would act the way he does in that office.
Like other serious big Time CON men the Trumpet is a master at Deflection, Distortion, Denial, Destruction and Distraction from what he is really up to .
In other words much of the nonsense coming from him is a cover up for what he really is up to and he loves to get people chasing the story while he plots and does his real agenda.
This Act has served him well over the years but now he is in the Ultimate spotlighted Bowl so its just a matter of time before the masses learn that he is not their friend or supporter.
How long it takes is the only uncertainty …..left!
