U.S. Policy on Clean Transportation: Just Say No
Here’s a letter discussing the U.S. EPA’s attack on our existing standards for clean transportation, from Plug-in America, the largest advocacy group for electric vehicles in the world. I’ve had the pleasure of working with this organization’s co-founders, Chelsea Sexton and Paul Scott, the latter of whom appeared in this multi-part video interview as part of our series “The 2GreenEnergy Video Report” that aired on cable television a few years ago.
Unsurprisingly, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency under Scott Pruitt (pictured) is working feverishly to remove the clean transportation standards that came as a result of an enormous amount of work done in crafting these laws and the intense negotiations between the automakers and the various governmental agencies that have jurisdiction in these matters. Pruitt’s work in undermining these agreements is coming at a huge cost to the U.S. taxpayer, not to mention their health and safety.
I would like to say that there is a single stone that the Trump administration hasn’t turned over in its quest to inflict punishment on the common American citizen, but I’ve yet to find one. For all their incompetence, they’re incredibly thorough in their work to destroy healthcare, the environment, the banking system, and the U.S. standing on the world stage.
