Truth and Justice Are Coming
My wife hates it when I gratuitously correct others’ grammar or word usage, but sometimes I can’t help myself. Here, a friend writes on Facebook: Had a premonition today. TRUTH is coming. JUSTICE is coming.
I wrote:
I like this very much, and I hope you’re right. Minor point: a premonition is a perceived warning. I think you mean vision, feeling, hunch, extrasensory perception, clairvoyance, etc.
Now, Trump is having premonitions (or at least one might think). Most of the rest of the world can’t wait for truth and justice; there will be people all over the globe dancing in the streets.

Always a mistake attributing your own wishes to be shared by everyone else.
“Truth” and “Justice” are often the catch-cry of fanatics who have no desire for either, simply the desire to see enforce their own opinions at the expense of others.
